“If you want to know what it’s like to be vaccine injured, go read about the lepers in Roman times. We are the modern-day lepers. Nobody wants to touch us.” ~ Chris Pigott
Unfortunately, this is the tragic reality the vaccine injured face.
Chris spent 20 years as a chemical engineer and was a thriving, high-energy husband, teacher, and community leader—up at 4 a.m., training hard, teaching robotics and millwrighting at an inner-city school, and pouring himself into STEM education and service. After receiving the COVID-19 vaccine, everything changed. He is now disabled with Vaccine-Induced Acute Disseminating Encephalitis, a devastating neurological injury that upended the life he once knew.
In this interview, you’ll meet a man who has transformed profound loss and anger into purpose.
Through React19, Chris now leads faith-based support groups for the vaccine-injured, creating safe spaces for others to share their struggles and find strength. He speaks candidly about faith, community, and advocacy—offering hope, practical guidance, and a powerful reminder of the resilience found in connection.
